My Work Experience

I’m a multimedia journalist and digital content producer with over five years of experience working in fast-paced, cross-platform newsroom environments. My work spans audio, video, and digital storytelling, with a focus on narrative structure, sound-rich production, and clear, engaging reporting under tight deadlines.

I produce and host longform audio for Deutschlandfunk, Germany’s nationwide public radio station, where I work on Players, a narrative podcast exploring underreported stories. My role includes story development, research, pre-interviewing, live production, tape cutting, scripting, and fact-checking, as well as hosting live on air coverage for a national audience.

Alongside my newsroom work, I produce daily news explainers and interviews for digital platforms, applying editorial judgment and reporting rigor to fast-turnaround content. I have experience producing social-first content and managing political social media campaigns. This involved creating platform-specific content, shaping messaging for online audiences, and adapting political reporting.

Previously, I’ve worked with Süddeutsche Zeitung and WDR (Westdeutscher Rundfunk), producing and editing digital news stories, interviews, and explainers, and collaborating closely with editors on archival research and story structure.

I’m bilingual in German and English, skilled in Adobe ProTools, and experienced in collaborative, deadline-driven newsrooms. Originally based in Germany, I’m now located in the United States and continue to work internationally. My work has been recognized with the Best Young Sports Reporter of the Year award in April 2025 by the Verband Deutscher Sportjournalisten for my coverage of the Refugee Olympic Team at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
